Inverted images color: Why?

Hi, I like sumatra pdf a lot: It's great.

Something I don't get: It's easy (and really usefull) inverting back and foreground colors via settings file, FixedPageUI -> TextColor & BackgroundColor. Good. Now it is nice reading long texts white text over black background.

So WHY images' color are also inverted ?. It's really annoying and it makes no sense IMHO.

It is my opinion image palette color should remain independent from text colors.

Unfortunately PDF doesn't have a notion of text or background color.

A PDF page is just a rendered bitmap so swapping the colors of the bitmap is the only way to approximate changing text or background color of a PDF file.
