night/day mode

This is a great and fast pdf viewer! thank you guys for the hard work.

I have a suggestion that might help. ON the android i have a PDF reader called ezpdf. One cool thing about it is that you can select night and day mode. On night mode, everything is inverted. It works a lot better than simply just lowering the brightness of the screen because most pdf's have a white background.

You can use the -invert-colors command line argument to do that with SumatraPDF. See http://blog.kowalczyk.info/software/sumatrapdf/manual.html.

There is an app flux (http://stereopsis.com/flux/) that does "night mode" for all applications.

We don't have plans to add this specifically to Sumatra.

you're losing alot of converts for the lack of this function. if not custom colors, just the simple white on black night mode.

sumatra is a nice pdf viewer a computer savvy person would use, but even the computer savvy don't want to use multiple applications to do the same simple function available in the bloated mainstream product (adobe).

i'm a computer nerd, and alot of computer nerds i know appreciate a black background.

please consider adding it in the future.

my eyes love you for telling me about that flux program, i did not even know the bright blue luminescence was a problem until i used it, but now my eyes hurt to use my display without it. weird.

still would appreciate a white on black option.

k, thanks, bye.

I just created a shortcut in the desktop with the -invert-colors option added, every pdf I open from that instance of sumatra is black background and white letters.

Funny, I found this page by googling "windows pdf reader with night mode". eZpdf does the night mode very elegantly on Android, something similar for Windows would be a killer.
